Michelle Walker

is a wife and mom of two lovely young ladies who make her the proudest she could ever be. They are truly the most loving and inclusive two souls she has ever encountered. She has two furry lads at home. One grumpy old man feline and a 90 pound canine chubby ball of couch surfing stubbornness. They all keep her very busy.

She grew up in Pittsburgh,  but now lives in the Akron, Ohio area not too far from Kent State University.  She has a B.A. in History and an MLIS from KSU. While there she worked on a documentary about Brady Lake for PBS, did museum installations at the University, and interned at local Historical Societies. 

Michelle has always had a love of history. To her it's not about dates and places, but more about the people and their stories. She's always down to hear a good story, and come into any situation with a questionnaire all ready to go in her mind.
